Care management
10% of each quarterly budget is set aside for care management, leaving 90% for services. There are 13 weeks in a quarter, so a level 4 participant has about $528 a week for services.
How Care Nexus helps
Care Nexus tracks every participant's quarterly budget and checks each booking against it.
- Care Nexus creates the claims and invoices automatically from the services delivered. Once you've reviewed them, the government share is claimed and each participant's contribution invoice is sent to them automatically.
- Each participant's quarterly budget follows their classification, from level 1 to level 8, and transitioned Home Care Package levels.
- Care management is tracked in its own account, separate from services.
- Restorative Care, End-of-Life, assistive technology and home modifications each have their own account.
- A booking that would go over the remaining budget can be blocked, warned, or offered as privately funded.
