How claims work

  • Price services from the current DVA Community Nursing Schedule of Fees.
  • Group services into 28-day claim periods.
  • Lodge through Medicare (Services Australia), with fees excluding GST.
  • Medicare adds the GST and issues a Recipient Created Tax Invoice on DVA's behalf.

Cancellations

Visits cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or where the veteran isn't home, are claimable.
